This page is a dumping ground for anything that doesn't fit anywhere else. So here you'll find the odd bit of Javascript code, some nihilistically pointless Flash adverts (i.e. adverts made in Macromedia's Flash, rather than adverts for a leading brand of floor cleaner).
Shakespearian Insult Generator

Be the envy of your friends as you verbalise all around you into cowed submission! Ask yourself: why are these insult generators usually the first thing that anyone writes when learning Javascript?
This feature is dead simple: Javascript sets up three lists of words, and chooses a random one from each list, glues them together and dynamically sticks the resulting string of verbiage into the page... Previous versions used an Alert box (naff and obtrusive) and an input text box (crass inelegant workaround). The origins of the lists used for the insults are lost in the midsts of time. Not having scrutinised the complete works of our Bard, the genuinicity of these insults cannot be guaranteed, but you can check them for yourself here at Project Gutenberg. Happy reading...
